According to the writings in The Lesser Key of Solomon, Malphas is the thirty-ninth spirit listed in the Goetia. He is a Great President of Hell with forty legions of demons under his command. He is depicted as a crow or raven, but will take the form of a man at the conjurer's request. When summoned he can build strong houses, high towers, and impregnable strongholds as well as destroy the buildings of enemies. He knows all things of the conjurer's enemies pasts and can manipulate their thoughts and gives good familiars. Malphas will gladly accept any sacrifice made to him, but the sacrificer must be wary, as he is very deceitful.
