Purski is a lesser deity that is thought to be originally an indigenous god to the people of the Himalaya mountains in Tibet. He was then later adapted for Hinduism, where he looks similar to their native deity, Ganesha. Purski is depicted as a human with an elephant's head, a third eye in the middle of his forehead, and often a snake wrapped around his body. His face is often depicted on the masks of Nepalese dancers.
