Just play it through in Japanese. There's several FAQs varying in usefulness as well as a letsplay performed by the lovable satsu wherein he provides a translation of the important dialogue throughout the Reiko path.

I just beat it. It's a fucking pain in the ass, as in incredibly difficult. The dungeons are nightmarish and you'll love the World of Sloth. I'm currently going through the *SECRET* Akira path with only my limited knowledge of Japanese as my guide. It's even more difficult than before. Also there's a really sweet Devil Man rip-off (Akira is possessed by Amon, transforming him into a cool demi-fiend dude). Anyway, BYE~!
