I was playing the closed beta on my AMD Sempron 1.5 Ghz based system with an ancient graphics card... it wasn't unplayable at all... the open beta seems to be smoother (changes on the server/client), but I'll have to play more on that box for a proper comparison, so far I've only played it on my newer P4 based system.

It runs better in fullscreen, also. Well, on my desktop anyhow.
