Ok so now we know it's related to if...
I have yet to read it, as I just found out it came out when I got to work today. The cover is pretty horrible and the logo is pretty terrifyingly bad, but the art inside holds up pretty well considering it's over 10 years old (except everyone has a huge forehead). I've paged though and it's fairly gory (It seems they are trying to pass it off on the Battle Royale crowd) and it has some strange lesbian/demon sort of sex scene in it. I'll have to write more about when I read it.

It's possible, but I don't know, this seems like a strange choice on Tokyopop's part to release this series. I'd say try ordering them from the U.S. Amazon site. I've ordered from the Japanese one, so I can't see why you can't order from the American one and have them shipped to you.

I have to agree with the reviewer on how strange it was for Tokyopop to release this manga. It would've been a better move if they had licensed a manga that was actually based off a SMT game licensed in the U.S.

I pretty much agree with the reviewer. I read it, and it was pretty terrible. Though I thought the art was passable, maybe "C" quality. It's the story where it fails miserably. For someone who hasn't played any of the games it whould have to make no sense at all, and it's kind of big on the shock factor to make it. Plus who knew Pixie was and elf looking chick in 80's Madonna Lingerie.

As far as I know it's not even a direct sequel of a game it's a sequel to a manga that is a direct sequel to Shin Megami Tensei if...
